Elizabeth creates timeless, elegant interiors with a natural sense of style. Her practical approach to interiors incorporates a blend of old and new resulting in a layered effect that provides a casual richness built to last.
She enjoys working collaboratively with her clients to curate spaces that reflect their individual styles, bridging people to place.
Prior to founding her design firm, Elizabeth refined her skills and style working for San Francisco Bay Area industry leading hospitality and residential interior design firms. She attained her BFA in Interior Architecture and Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco after receiving her BA in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Montana.
Specializing in sustainable design, thoughtful consideration is given to finishes, materials, and furniture selections to foster an interior environment that supports overall health and well-being. It is with this commitment to sustainability that Elizabeth earned the professional title of LEED AP (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional) through the US Green Building Council.
Elizabeth enjoys the outdoors with her family, supporting the local farmer’s market and perusing antiques. Based in Sonoma, CA, Elizabeth Monteleone Interior Design provides interior design services for projects in Sonoma, Napa, Marin, the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond.
